EPABX  Systems

A PBX is a “private branch exchange,” while a PABX is a “private automatic branch exchange” for telephone systems. EPABX stands for Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange which is used by organizations and companies for various types of communication, either between the employees or the outside world. A PABX is linked to the public phone system and mechanically routes incoming calls to individual extensions. Each employee can easily exchange information using this internal phone connection linked with each other, without any additional cost.

A typical small business PABX system includes internal and external phone lines; a Central Control Unit that manages call routing and switching, and a console for manual control. Using a PABX system employees can communicate just by pressing the extension numbers, allow call forwarding or call transfer, call recording, and call queue management. Its main advantage is to have the facility of multiple incoming and outgoing calls concurrently.
